The Kwara Take

Agricultural cooperatives in Rwanda have received a training from the Korea International Cooperation Agency (KOICA) on how to boost their productivity and increase income. In a story published by the Taarifa Newspaper the training aims to build the capacity of members of agricultural cooperatives and establish agricultural value chains to revitalize the rural economy in Rwanda.

Kwara lauds this development in Rwanda. It is important for various stakeholders in the cooperative sector to continuously work with cooperatives not only in Rwanda but across the world.  The knowledge that the cooperatives have received will help them to grow and support their members.

Since it was established in Rwanda in 2011, KOICA has contributed to the development of Rwanda by providing grants to support development projects within Agriculture, Education and ICT sectors.
